Hey friends,

I just wanted some opinions and advice..

I'm living on the east coast, the next 5-7 days are all rain and complete storm clouds due to the hurricane Sandy.

As some of you may know, the NBA season begins tomorrow. In order to receive NBA LEAGUE PASS. You must rescann everyday to have an updated TP/FREQ etc. because they change daily.

I was told by a friend that rescanning sat's during bad weather may cause you to lose channels that you may already have, is this actually true? I would try manual scanning just the specific TP/freq for the special nba league pass channels, but from my experience that doesn't work unless I rescan the whole satellite whether it be 110, 119 or 129.

I just wanted to know from you guys if I can do this without any problems or issues of losing signal/channels that I already have ....

Thank you for reading and relying, I appreciate it!

I've noticed that when I have scanned in the rain I have missed channels, so I would have to think that a hurricane would be even worse. ;)
