Which box is better for hd iks

Hi folks. Just wondering if anyone can give me some info on openbox. Which one of them is true hd. And does it support paid iks. Thanks

i have a openbox s9 working on paid iks and it works fine..all you have to is go in the network setting and put in p$ info and thats it....it's working 100%

My understanding is it will not do provider HD. I am not 100% familiar with the unit but everywhere I have read that is the concensus.

Openbox receivers are awesome bang for the buck on true fta and they will do all sd channels because the module is 8psk not turbo 8psk which is required for dn and bev.

There is nothing for iks hd that will work(dish) with open box and although there are rumours of firmware in the works, nothing has ever surfaced.

Also, there is no EPG on openbox, so you do not know what you are watching unless you edit the channels every time
after a fresh scan.

If you want a solid receiver with HD and P$ capabilities with full 9 day EPG, go for the Jynxbox.

here are some other features the Jynxbox will do:

1) Dual Tuner (Record and Watch 2 different shows on HD)
2) ATSC Tuner (OTA channels) ready. You would need a JBATSC Tuner for that one.
3) 9 day EPG

i cant remember more.....:)

As Costa Said and also the big thing with the provider in question.............it changing channels to TURBO FEC, no FTA receiver is capable of that on this side of the pawn.

Openbox and Specially SkyBox S12 the one I am testing, are so small there is no space to install additional hardware, the remote control is bigger then the STB.
