Any one else is having a problem with channel 301 using nfusion hd receiver, was working up to a little over a week ago. Is this a transponder problem or should I re-scan? All other channels are fine.

301 should be..
119.0W 12297/H20000
re-scans are necessary and some TP modification from 21500 to 20000 on SAT 110 TP3

Did a factory reset and modified tp3, re-scan and now the channel does not even show up on the channel list. Getting from bad to worse. It's not that I never had the channel, just all of a sudden it kept saying bad or no signal and now after doing all what I did, it does not show up. I have everything else going except for that one channel.

Thanks very much for your help, I am not getting any signal on this particular tp and if I try o change the dish settings I will screw up everything else. I canget hbo2 on hd so I will leave everything as is. Like I said, I had no problems with this channel before and the dish did not move.

when you changed 21500 to 20000 did you change anything else. If not you need to. 21500 should be t-8qsp and 20000 should be qxxx 2/3 Sorry I do not have mine up and running now to check the types of compression but look at the setup for another transponder with 20000 and match its settings, or maybe someone else will post the exact settings. Anyway more has to be changed. Hope this little bit helps you enough to get it going correctly.

all that was changed in my case was 21500 to 20000 on TP3 sat 110...that is all unless it changed what you speak of automatically.
doing what i suggested brought back all the adult channels on NFHD.
i'm not really up on this stuff and only post what is found to work.. be it the correct procedure or not....
here is whats posted for TP3 sat 110.
12253 V 20000 S QPSK AUTO (TV 21) (RADIO 0 )
again...the only changes was to the SR from 21500 to 20000.

i was letting you know the TP info for channel 301 to compare to what you had.
i was also letting you know how to get adult channel's back on 110 TP3 if you chose to.

jazzman,
if you go into the menu then antenna setup.
go to sat 119 on the top.
scroll down to TP list and scroll to TP 11 and press ok.
now you should see the following information.
11 12297 H 20000 S QPSK Auto
if this is all correct i would think you have a slight alignment problem or maybe a switch problem if your using a switch.
ch. 301 is still confirmed up.

Thanks for the help yappapi, I think I see the problem. On tp11 I have Freq 12355 not 12297 when I try to edit this it says edit fail.

i am probably the worst person to help you with the TP mods..edits and such but i can tell you what i see.
ok do you have a total of 26 TP's on 119?
i see TP 12355 as # 15.
i also see TP 12297 as #11
i am not sure if dish alignment or geographical location makes a difference as far as how many TP's you scan in or if the numbering changes.
maybe a knowledgeable person with the NFHD can step in and post why you have different TP numbering than me.

I really do not know what is going on. On sat. 119 I only have 22 tps, and my tp15 is 12428. The s/w version I am using is V 1.3sR 27F. Or maybe there is a very late transponder file for the nfusion hd? Like I said, this channel was working up to about 3 weeks ago. This is where I watch the Bill Maher show on Saturday mornings, it comes on on HBO2.

well i won't hold watching Bill Maher against you...lol
well if you haven't done this yet..
load the latest r27 TP file and then menu out and soft boot...do not hard boot when prompted or it will not be saved.
then rescan and check your TP #'s and amount of TP's.
also,
are you using the original r27 bin for dik?
or are you using a modified r27-channel list combo bin that was posted here before the closing?
this will make a difference.

I am using the original r27 bin for dik. I will go search for the latest r27 tp file and load it. I can't do it tonight but I will do it tomorrow.

Well, I am just about to give up on this project. Loaded the new transponder file, now I have the 26 tps on sat 119 however, after scanning, now 301 does not even show up on the guide. Maybe I am using the wrong LNB setting, but that can't be.... I had the channel before so what could have gone wrong. I wonder what other channels are on this particular transponder (tp 11) perhaps channels I never watched. One thing I am not doing is moving the dish! I will have to do without that channel.
I want to thank you yappapi for all your help on this one.

no problem jazzman..wish it had worked out.
depending on the dish and switches(if any)..it may just be as simple as your alignment..i have seen channels work one time of the year and then not work others.. earths rotation-tree branches and leaves ect..
just means your line of sight and or alignment needs some tweeking.
if you get it going post back...good luck.

Yesterday I disconnected nfusion hd from the dish connection and connected a captive works receiver and set it up and I got all the channels to include 301, this means that the dish settings and pointing is good. This brings me to think that the nfusion receiver for some reason is not right, something might of changed perhaps the wrong LNB setting. So my question is what LNB setting do I need with the nfusion HD receiver using a 1000.2 dish? I have it at DPLNBF, is this right?

1000.2 settings for NFHD.
one cable to one STB-no switches used.
diseqc option 119 port 1
diseqc option 110 port 2
diseqc option 129 port 3
dplnbf lnb type
diseqc mode diseqc 1.0(dp21.34)
legacy sw disable
the above is confirmed working as per interweb search :)

Thanks yappapi, this is exactly the settings on this nfusion receiver with the problem. I am running out of options. I think I will check the cables again. I must be missing something.

Posting back to say everything is fine now. It was the damn cable connector. I can't believe that would cause just a couple of channels not to be scanned.
Thanks for your help again yappapi.

holy crap jazzman!!!!!!!
glad to hear your back to 100%...
FYI the cheap servers been causing great deal of grief for NOI users for past several days but i have read that everything has stabilized in the past day or 2.
the info below is average scan numbers from the interweb :)
119=496 channels
110=572
129=478
depending on location numbers should be similar i would think.
