i am trying to get FTA channels ...using a dish 500 and a viewsat vs2000 xtrem receiver...

A small dish like the 500 is too small for true FTA channels.. Depending on what sat your trying to get and your location you will need at least a 30 inch or bigger dish.

dbps-sss-071031xfix-new-(does this zip file contain all necesary sat files )- i am working on my receiver right now...friend are trying to get true fta channels or providers channels,like i explain on the other post,and if your looking for true fta channels you only need to download the factory file for the receiver your going to use,and you also need at least a 33 to 39 inch dish and linear lnb for better signal and quality and gallaxy 19 at 97.w is a sat that gots 200+ international channels....
