Just for FYI, all new SE receivers already have the 7.09 fact file loaded, there is no need to load it again, just do a fact default, and load the S/W file 3.06 or the 3.17 file, considering I had just read a post that the file is working now, but no HDMI.

Yes you are correct.the 2nd gen receivers work with the 3.17 file but the hdmi still doesn't work.the 3.17 file works really good on nfps as a friend is running it now with no problems.

Which gen is your receiver?also which way did you load the files to get the hdmi to work?

I have dealt with both gen's of these receivers, from reading new post's now, since I have posted this post, the file 3.17 file now works, but with some of the 2nd gen receivers and they are able to get the HDMI working, the way I loaded the files, was with the loader through the 232 port. Just keep in mind if you are loading a new SE, you will not have to load the fact file 7.09, it is already loaded.

It must be Only some 2nd gens that the hdmi work.i have tried at least 20 2nd gens and none the hdmi will not work.i load them USB though so that must be the only difference.will try loading using serial port and loader and see what happens.
