after loading DL_HDpvr_100.Fac.rar my new reciver not responding.

Hi guys, I just loaded DL_HDpvr_100.Fac.rar on my new hd dreamlink and reciver stop responding,I can't do anything, how to fix the problem? thanks.

shouldn't have loaded that file. the unit should have already had the 105 file installed.

Ok here's how you will solve your issue. Load factory bin 105. On menu reset to default. Shut down your receiver from back of your unit. Turn unit back on. Load 115 bin. Rest default. Shut down receiver from back of unit. Remove your USB from front of receiver. Turn back on. And voila. All your birds should be there.

I have connected the serial cable to my computer. Do I now need to use Downloader to put the factory 105 file in and if so please let me know how I would go about doing so?

You should unzip the file and place on the loader, then upload to receiver. wait until you know for sure it is finished loading. Cutting it short could have disastrous effects. good luck
