INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Splintered beams and boards on a piece of charred earth were all that remained Sunday where at least two Indianapolis homes were leveled in a blast that killed two people and rendered homes for blocks uninhabitable.

Do not think was a distillery, could be effective use of C-4 explosives by some extremely upset clients?

To big for C-4, (at least for what you can get in the black-market convince store size) more then likely a gas explosion, the correct air gas mixture will out perform C-4 any day, look at the BLU-96 bomb, they have nice videos for that one.

Someone may have left the gas on, or let the pilot light go out, then all it takes is a spark from the heater motor and BOOOM....

Get the mixture just right around 6.75 % and it is very impresive..

Depending upon the convenience store LOL. The natural gas is delivered at 3" W.C. pressure after the regulator. It would have taken a totally air tight enclosure environment to get to an explosive LEL level for this, despite what your Hollywood movies portray.
