I have the first wifi hd limesat that came out. Version 1. I loaded LS_HDpvr_201.bin (beta) from the time I bought it, many moons ago. All south excellent. Lately, I wanted more (north) and keep getting scrambled but only on the North. South still 100%.

So, I have looked for an update to this march 2011 file as above, and tried 1.24. after loading, I got the english screen and the remote did not work. Thankfully, with the loader and a null modem cable I forced 201 beta back in and everything is back to where it was. Remote works, but still no joy closer to Santa.

Any help, or a file recommendation for V1. let me know, On another site, I saw 3.21 was the lastest but cannot find it anywhere.

Are you scanning in the sats and does your P$ offer the north? If you have scanned all the Bev sats and you see scrambled then odds are your P$ is not offering them.

yes, all scanned. And p$ (got north) working on other reciever. (not limesat) I get preview and says connected in server info. still using first beta, think it must be the file. Just using on one receiver but tested donation on the other. Works good. Unhooked that receiver and limesat same issue. i have server 1 (south) connects and works, server 2 (north) says connected but nothing on channel but scrambled. test receiver was sd, thats why I want limesat (p$) has hd.

I could try v124 again, just worried about bricking although the loader did fix it fine...

Have you tried a hard boot?
Are you sure you have the original HD unit and not the HD max?

did a hard reboot. thought I got it before the max was released. I will double check the serial but the max was announced a few weeks after I received mine. Was LS_HDpvr_201.bin beta the only file released on V1? or did that work on max as well. That has worked and is working now. Just with the issues as above now. serial lst:10001 so im sure its 1

Limesat HD Air V1 or Limesat HD Air V2 - Which is it that you have?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There appears to be a lot of Mis-information on several Sites about the Limesat HD Air, be they Ver 1, Ver 2 or Ver 3. I have not read anything about any Ver 3 Receivers being out there but once we do find some factual information on this we will append this Post

Around June 1, 2012 it appears that Limesat released a Newer Version of the Popular Limesat HD Air, namely the Limesat HD Air V2.

How can you determine one you have?

So far we have this information that should assist you determine which Version you may have.

Limesat HD Air V1 or the Original Limesat HD Air

1) All Limesat HD Air Receivers that were in Use Prior to June 1, 2012 were Ver 1 or the Original Limesat HD Air.

2) The Serial Number on the Receiver Label and on the Box reads: LS4500**** for all Limesat HD Air V1 or Original Limesat HD Air Receivers

3) The Mother Board (Green) used on the Limesat HD Air V1 or Original Limesat HD Air is marked as: Destiny 2.0

4) Bins V1.17, V 1.21 and V1.24 work with Limesat HD Air V1 or the original Limesat HD Air Receiver.

Limesat HD Air V2

1) Limesat HD Air Receivers Purchased and received after June 1, 2012 are more than likely Limesat HD Air V2 Receivers but see the following distinctions to be certain.

2) Serial Number on the Receiver Label and on the Box reads: LS1800**** for all Limesat HD Air V2 Receivers

3) The Mother Board (Green) used on the Limesat HD Air V2 is marked as: Destiny 2.1

4) So far only the V130 and V131 Bins work with Limesat HD Air V2 Receivers

Now this is a sure way to mess a box up.
You are posting information on the Limesat air which is a totally different beast than the original HD unit.

He stated in his original post it was before the max came out. I would have moved it to the original HD section but we don't have that anymore so I left it here.

Nothing wrong with what you posted if he had an Air unit. That is why I asked him to specify. If it was a max I would have moved it there.

all is correct, I do not have the air, and it was before the max...the original. I have found out the beta file is the one and only file released for this version. Its fine for south but misses something for anything else. Thanks for all your help, and yes I did notice that the max had a thread asnd did not see anything for the first model made.

Just out of curiosity are you in the Bev footprint and are capable to received it?
I did not have that issue when I tested the file.

Yes, but interesting on your experience. Maybe I will factory, rescan and try again for fun.

I would also make sure that you have no spaces at the begining of your P$ info.
One way to to that is by manually deleting the info that's already there byu hitting delete then backspace then delete then backspace all the way to the start and when you think you have deleted all kepp doing it a couple times.
Good luck.

I also have the original LS HD and I also have an Air. The original Limesat HD will NOT get BEV. There was no support for it after an ECM took out BEV. The update came out for the Max, but not for the original. This is why I now own an Air along with the original. The original is rock solid on Dish.
