Iks servers can be found within the forum through resellers. Keep in mind, they have no ties to the site, so whenever you join, you do so at your risk. If a receiver is capable of having a network connection, it will work on a iks server. The length of time a server is "valid" for depends on which donation you choose.
Sounds like you are very new to this, suggest you read as much as possible before you decide if this is for you or not. Once you "donate", the money is gone. It's not like a store where you take something back for a refund. By donating, you are taking the risk, you may get nothing for the money in return. This is nothing like a legit sub, downtime, freezing, channels come and go. Educate yourself before joining.

Read. Read. Read before asking. You can gain so much at the same time instead of in small increments (questions)....when you get stuck and can't find the information, ask. There are many helpful and knowledgeable people here.

Goal needs to be no paper trail. If record exists, someone could find it.

People will give you lots of opinions, but that is all they are. Read through the threads, base your own opinion on that. What one person might think is a good server, another may not like. Channel line ups are different, service could be different, ect. Read, read and read some more. If you do go a head, only do a month at a time so that if you aren't happy, not much lost.
