Jynxbox ultra HD A5H on boot help!!!

I loaded file 217 on a brand new jynxbox ultra HD and upon boot I'm getting message A5H with a RED light instead of blue, has anyone seen this before or is there a way to fix this? I tried loading factory bin through loader it finishes successfully but I still get same error.PLEASE HELP!!!

i think that is a bad update file, can you get into the menu, if not try pressing menu button as it is booting.

I can't do anything with the receiver I tried holding menu and flipping rear switch on but that doesn't work. I also loaded factory bin from loader but that didn't help either. I can't access menu nor does it display anything on TV

try the av cables = rca cables= and set your tv to av input.

I tried the A/V cable but its not getting signal on the tv. Is there any way to force load a bin? The loader only lets me load the factory bin and not a regular bin is that normal?

you should be able to load the firmware with the loader, try the loader with an older firmware.

sounds like the file you dl'd is corrupt or missing pieces. try deleting the current file and downloading again then load with loader... if you loaded a part file this may explain the a5h error.

I've tried files from this forum and others as well, but I noticed the factory bin is about 4MB while the regular bins are about 2.26MB

Its seems like "ASH" error!

Maybe it means FLASH error...
Will talk with supplier on monday and find out if they know of a fix for that.

same problem here i doit a factory flash and boom i have a ash error and them doit a other factory flash and the box doit boot, on, star. and again and again no stop i tried to put a other file but Loader gives me same problem of you

I googled A5H and it said something about an invalid file extension, That loader Ive noticed is only good for the factory file. To load the other file I think you need to change the extension in all chunk loading mode... You have a choice of either abs or bin... You need to select bin

Take it back to the dealer and don't mention the loader to them...

In the loader I selected chunk file I changes option from abs to all files then I selected the factory bin file I flashed it and its back up and running!!!! Thanks everyone for your help... Can sticky this for anyone who might run in to this problem in the future

Having the same problem here. Only issue is, I need a copy of the Factory file for v2. Does anyone have a copy or know where to get one?

Tried that, and it wont accept the file, even with the extension changed

I have the same problem "ASH". What kind of cable is used to connect pc-jynxbox? I have a null modem cable but I can't establish comunication with jynxbox. Can someone tell me what is the config of the cable? Thanks!

The files and instructions really work, try the how to and use the factory.

Go to radio shack and buy a straight thru serial cable.

If you are using a USB to Serial adapter you can connect it directly to the jynxbox without a cable.

That is true if using a later version laptop or computer that has no serial output port, make sure if usb adapter has drivers cd, load them to make all work well.
