Search google. There is a few places to get those files. What are you using a pro for? They don't work with IKS.

Thanks. I'm using the pro for true fta. I found the files but I can't load them to the box. I open the loader and follow the instructions to the point but it never passes the "Reset" screen. And the receiver's panel doesn't change from "boot". What else can I do?

Thanks for the reply. I put a usb with only the factory bin in it and turned the box on from the switch in the back but it did nothing. I have done the loader procedure a lot of times but it does not come out of that boot loop. I will keep trying. If you remember the usb way please let me know. Thanks!

I've tried to load the factory bin thousands of times but it does not work. VS Pro still with only the word "boot" on the front panel. I don't know what else to do.

Taken from another place (It's for a VS9000HD but should work):

I will not bore you with the story behind my pain for two day’s but I will teach you how to get out of BOOT-LOOP with a VS9000HD receiver using the correct tools.

1. Make sure that you are in fact suffering from BOOT-LOOP. (BOOT) will be steady on your display and not move to the time setting.

2. Make sure that you have a Laptop and a NULL cable to connect between the Laptop and the receiver. REMOVE the receiver from all connections.

3. Find a solid copy of BOOT-LOADER 2 and (9000HDBoot fix_v2.pgm) to recover your VS9000HD receiver.

4. Connect the NULL cable to the receiver and Laptop and don’t power the receiver on at this time.

5. Launch BOOT-LOADER 2 from your laptop and open the file (9000HDBoot fix_v2.pgm)
make sure that you select (PC-STB) and click (OK).

6. Once the 9000HDBoot fix_v2.pgm) STARTS: turn on the receiver this will take about 6 seconds to get under way. Now because the fix file is about 33mb it will take some time to complete. My first try it took about 45 minutes but it works. You will see the indicator bar get out of sync and do strange stuff, don’t worry about what you see just let it finish.

7. When completed you will see completed on the laptop screen so select OK and turn the VS9000HD receiver OFF.

8. Locate a good copy of the (VS9000HD FIRMWARE) and load it into the laptop the same way you did with the (9000HDBoot fix_v2.pgm) file. Start the file and turn the receiver ON.
and let it complete. The receiver will now reboot and you will feel joy. Disconnect every thing and reconnect the receiver back to the Satelitte position.

9. You are now back to normal and at this point you can load the current bin file via USB or the laptop as you wish.

Tools you will need.

A fast Laptop with a NULL cable.
The Application BOOT-LOADER 2.
The file 9000HDBoot fix_v2.pgm).
The file Viewsat 9000HD Factory Bin File - V1007 or V1005.
The copy of the latest bin file, you can load this vis USB.
And lots of good friends to help you with making decisions.

Hope this helps you with your BOOT problem.

Here is the USB way taken from another place:

1. 'Power Off' with the back panel switch
2. disconnect antenna
3. on USB Drive:
* copy current Release bin
* create a directory "USB"
* copy Factory bin to "/USB/PFTAHDSW.pgm"
4. plug USB Drive into front port
5. with only a TV connected, 'Power On' with the back panel switch
6. the display shows: "BOOT", "CHECK USB", "DOWNLOAD"
7. when the display shows: "ERASE" - pull the USB Drive out
8. wait for unit to complete Erase, Program and re-boot (Notes #3, 4)
9. Factory Default
10. plug USB Drive into front port
11. Receiver Upgrade=>USB Release bin
12. wait for reboot
13. Factory Default
14. 'Power Standby' with remote or front panel switch, wait 5 sec.
15. 'Power Off' with the back panel switch
16. reconnect antenna
17. 'Power On'
18. setup Options
19. see Setup Antenna & Scan Satellites below

Do I have to rename the Factory bin to "PFTAHDSW.pgm"?

I tried it renaming and not renaming the factory bin file but no good. Front panel never goes beyond "boot". Also tried it inserting the usb in the front and in the rear ports. Didn't work either way.
