Ahhhhhh I am a happy xbmc user... just a quick note... The newly compiled librrmp is required to be able to stream programs from servers like Justin.TV and Veetle to name a couple... The librtmp that gets compiled from the xbmc source is outdated and has to be recompiled with the latest librtmp 2.4 sources...

Now that we have a properly compiled librtmp library you just need to replace the old with the new...

Replace the librtmp.so in /data/data/org.xbmc.xbmc/lib and change the permissions to reflect those of the other libraries rwx-rx-rx and you should be all set...

It has libcryto and libssl statically linked.
Untested.

I haven't tested this updated libRTMP. Those install instructions are not very clear for me.

I'm currently running this apk: Koying_xbmcapp-armeabi-v7a-debug-beta1-neon.apk - xbmc-android - XBMC Nightly APK for NEON Devices - XBMC for Android - Google Project Hosting (http://code.google.com/p/xbmc-android/downloads/detail?name=Koying_xbmcapp-armeabi-v7a-debug-beta1-neon.apk&can=2&q=)

Its blazing fast for me right now. Great Navi-X support. Better then my ATV.

It seems like the poster and the author of this xbmc might be the same person. So that's a clue to why this version is top notch.
