Old Kbox hub

just wondering what the original kbox hub could be used for now? seems a waste. Did most just throw it in the garbage?

if you use the wizloader and "search" option it will tell you the version...... if we could get the new v4 or v5 bin we could update with the wizloader ..as we used to do with the SV i hubs

not quite the same but there is a guy in Toronto (GTA, Brampton) who can flash the v3 k-hubs to a v4...you can goto him in person or mail it to him...very reasonable charge to convert...only takes a...

Only beef is 'his' software don't allow saving of the password on p/s files, have tried dozens of times.
There is another version out there (was told montreal but who knows) that works better.

works no problem the only thing that can be a pain is the server info is blacked out so once entered and saved it disappears but it is still there, provided you enter everything correctly it will connect...

If you use file 104 then you can see the password and server info. I have been using file 104 and work great. The person in Brampton converted my Hub and if anyone need info for the person in Scarborough PM me and I will give it to you.

I posted his phone# with his permission. He only answer text. I upgraded Heros Plus Silver v1 and 2 other from Prodigy model. Working good. Kbox has best picture quality among non HD STB. Anyone need info PM me.
