friend its that a linear lnb,can,t tell by what you posted,it sounds like it,but can you post a picture of the lnb to make sure its a linear lnb....

That LNB will work fine, but you must be within the coverage area for the Mexico beam if you want the SKY channels.

Look at the link below, select the Mexico beam, this will give you the coverage area for that satellite and beam, and if you register (it's free) it will give you the estimated dish size needed for your location.

Once you register you just click on your location, it should give you a dish size, and if you can receive that satellite at your location.

this is the lnb that I brought
