I have read and tried the method to get several days of epg without success. I am using the latest bin and all of the various permutations of trying to get a reasonable epg of more that two hours have failed. Can someone provide some info that can help me.

Ok rayr,

Here what I found that works from one other member on this site

go to the epg than toggle epg red button that will change to days now press the yellow button on you remote
that will tune to channel 239 you should have a small view on the right side and the channel #s on the bottom of the screen
now scroll down to channel 303 sit on for about 5 to 10 minutes do not click on it you should get 4 to 5 days of epg about 80% populated
this works pretty well until a new bin is out for a new epg channel

Yes Anubis, thats the method that I have been trying without any results.

I got several days of epg, so it worked. I was not using the red button correctly to change the unit to the correct mode. I hope the epg is redone in a future bin. I like the viewsat HD epg format much better.

EPG more then likely will be be redone on this unit, the dreamteam has worked out allot of the kinks that this receiver has..but i doubt you will see that, it has been asked and wished for just to even change it from info-channel to channel-info, there are limitations, but there is always hope...happy testing

From your mouth to HER ear. Lets just hope that the coder team remain active and not leave us users like the Limesat team did without fixing many problems.
