changing nanosat se to 1080i

i just figured out how to change resolution on the se when u first turn box on press v format button ,, it probably will say 480i ,, turn box off again hit vformat again will say 480p continue to turn box off and hit v format again 720i and one more time turn reciever off and hit vformat and should say 1080i... dont know why it has to be turned off every time,, or why can only press v format once and see resolution but i have mine 1080i and pic is sweet ,,, after getting to 1080i resolution go into osd set up and change from 4 3 to 16 9 pic is no longer stretched

Don't know exactly what good it does, 1080i is a hd pic setting and the se is not an HD unit, but if you think the pic is better, then that's great!

when you hit vformat and change the resolution the remote becomes non responsive.. hence why you have to hard boot from the rear each time until your resolution is what you want.

This is interesting...I tried but I do not see the 480p I did several times...can you tell me where I see the 480p or 720p...??
