So yesturday set up noi with north and south all was well. Today with the nfps port changing......I tried the bz one but noi does not kick in like before between north and south......I put back the ip number for the port. Just turn noi on to south pond .......wait it connects.......then turn it off and set it for north and south and reboot the receiver re start noi checked the settings stayed .......north works but south does not connect to server........could that just be forays buck up......wait it out? Any ideas.....

i have read on north and south noi user's using ip on both and things working fine.
as always they change channels slower when going from n to s server and visa versa.

the thing is it was all good until this last port changing of nfps...its still doing the same thing........only connects to south when its set for just one pond.......but when set for the two....south wont connect......the bugger.....

Have you ever heard the term don't fix what isn't broke!, anyway it sounds like you are running 1 receiver, I hate to tell you this but when the receiver is set on a ch. for your south, then you will not see anything north, displayed in Noi, till you change the ch. to your north pond. FYI.

Ya I never said that thought so thanks for actually reading what I wrote.........I said when I switched between the two........it would not come in. The south would not connect .............I really wish people read before they post. and as for leaving things alone....what fun is that this is a hobbie.....i'm trying the most i can this time around i have 82,91,110,119,129 and the hd receiver and a motor......i never had alll this my first time around with the bin days....

tbird,
how pleased are you with the motor set up?
the motor only turns the dish correct?
unlike c band bud's that can move in an arc?
do you have to go to each sat and adjust each lnb per sat so that when the motor moves the dish the lnb is pre set?
thanks

also still freezing cold up here.

oh i love it.....if it is set right u use the usal thing setting enter in your long and lat. and it will go to the sat.. i only have one lnb and it follows the arc....im off just a little i had to manually tweak it. but ya its not much lag going between 91 to 119 ...........its awsome....i have a 36 inch dish so i get all the signal really good........was a bit to figure out but its so worth it.
