EUC program ending.....

I don't post in this thread but I'm concerned about something......
Seems little to no chatter is being made about the fact that on 12/29/2012 all the Extended Unemployment recipients in the US will be cut off from any further government payments.
That's an immediate 2 million people with no cash or no extra cash for living.Soon to follow will be another 1 million who can not collect when their regular benefits run out in January.
Think about the implications.... The many that won't be able to make the house payment.The many that won't be able to afford either food or the necessities of basic living such as electricity, gas and water.
To date, Congress has no plan to extend any more benefits and it's not even up for discussion.
Is this insane or what ???

Finally,
There is some minor talk by a few in congress that see an impending doom on the horizon. No talk of a solution and in fact, nothing is being talked about or recognized yet by our Congress.

By this time next month, the crap should really be hitting the fan and I suspect our Congress will fall back on the usual excuse of "My goodness.We never saw it coming".

Last night while contemplating the possible outcomes from the up coming end of the EUC program on 12/29 and the "lay off" of 2 million people, I decided to follow suit with our current administration and ask the "Mystical Gods" for a vision or direction to go with this.
Following the current administrations directions, I placed my Native American head dress on my head.I drank an extra strong cup o
f coffee followed by a 2 liter bottle of Jolt Cola.I ate 5 Jalapenos (to invoke the Mexican gods) and I inhaled the smoke from two cigarettes (one in each nostril) as directed and began my recommended chant.Mow-a-lota-lawn.Mow-a-lota-lawn.Mow-a-lota-lawn..... .
Soon I was feeling very light headed, jittery,hot and flushed in the face and I could no longer breath through my nose.It was at that time I realized the Dems might be on to something with this "Mystical God" thing.
Soon my vision came.It was a vision of Obama standing at the podium in Jan,2013 giving the State Of The Union address.
Obama was happily and exuberantly touting the recovery of our economy and how 2.1 million people were no longer on Unemployment.A sure sign of a growing economy.
He was touting that jobs are plentiful and that just because the pay is now 1/3 what it was when you lost your job that we should all be thankful and happy for the performance of his cabinet.
It was at that time that I felt a huge wave of nausea come over me and overwhelming urge to pee.
I decided to end my vision at that time and headed to the bathroom to puke.
Anyone care to make a wager on whether my vision comes true or not ??? Time will tell all :)
