Your dongle was not seen by the box...hence... no network settings menu.

Are you back up yet ??

Shut off the switch on the elite and unplug the svlan to check there aren't any bent pins then make sure it is firmly plugged in and turn the elite back on. You should see the green light on and the yellow light flashing. Also check with wiznet to see what version is on the svlan. When you turn the box on with the remote do you see the "network adaptor connected"?

Sometimes my head is not where it is supposed to be!!!Guess when over 65, memory loss!!!. Brought my unit from C to Florida and forgot to connect the svlan!!!!!!!.We can state as an age item. Thanks!!!!!!!.
I may have another problem. Back home I had a hard wire to the SV. Here I am using air signal from my neighbour in anothe building. Able to get wireless thru the lap top. How would i proceed since no hard wire available to the svlan. ?????

First... Svlan are the files you use with the "Wizhub" dongle.
I'm a little confused by your post.
Is the usb not seeing your stick or is that your dongle is not being seen by the box ? Or is it both ?
Once you get your dongle situation worked out... it's a simple matter of bridging the connections in your laptop network settings.
