Be careful buying codes from FTA Sites

I have got a PM waring note from someone and just want to share and to see how everyone reacts or comments on this. The whole message as in quote below:

"Be careful buying codes from FTA Sites. Wufman was selling codes on this Site and got busted so now DN has all that info and I know 2 people that got letters from DN Lawyers wanting $3,500 to $5,000 or got to court. So far no court subpoena and we hope it is just a threat, but you never know. I seen the letters and they have Pay-Pal info, Satfix Info(Wufman was a Mod here)
I would buy from the provider site and not use a reseller - JMO"

there is a huge long text at the top of every section of the forums saying:

Some changes have been made to satFIX for the betterment of its members. Changes were made to the security, software and hardware running the site. Also, changes were made to the fundamental rules that we operate around.

All former user accounts were pruned from the database. That means email addresses and IP addresses have been disassociated from the archived posts. As a result, you will need to create a new username (it can be the same as before, or something entirely new) and password in order to post and access the files section. For VIPs and visiting dignitaries, please re-introduce yourself to the staff (to be re-coloured).

In moving forward, all posts/files about IKS and FTA receivers were deleted. But don't worry, you will notice that most of the files have been returned already and all discussion areas are open. We do allow discussions of all IKS providers but we no longer allow the posting of free trials. We also no longer allow any staff on our site to sell any IKS private server.

Please feel free to make satFIX your home away from home.

My donation expires soon and reading all the talk about letters etc I'm not sure how to go about getting a new one. I used Paypal and Wufman to get my last donation because it seemed safer than going directly to an IKS web site. I asked him and figured that he would destroy all the information as soon as I got my donation. If you go directly to a web site, you don't know if the web site is a scam or not. Also, I am outside the USA so don't know what else to use other than Paypal. Even if you use a dummy name with Paypal, you stlll have to give them a valid credit card number. I've looked into Western Union but they also require some form of ID when sending money. What are some other ways to make a donation?

That info has been posted and I was just trying to help. You should have kept my Username to yourself and just did some reading - Simple as that !!!!!!

Western union doesnt require id. Only if u are sending more then 1000. It says right on there website

Just get yourself a pre-paid Visa or Mastercard at the drug store. Pay cash for it if you're really paranoid. The purchase site I used for an NFPS sub took the pre-paid card no problem.

well you might be waiting a bit longer before you get your codes,yes like steven said get with nokia or marcella and you will be surprised how fast you get your codes
