Network internet signal

Using my neighbour's signal wireless thru my laptop. No hard wire. How do I set up(if possible)internet connection to my SVLan. No router or hard wire. H

Use the NIC or LAN port on your laptop, you go to your network connections in your control panel, and setup a bridged connection between the WIFI card and the wired port on the laptop, this will use your laptop as a network bridge, you have to leave the laptop on to watch TV, set it to stay on all the time wile plugged into the wall outlet.

Don't use a screen saver or have it go into hibernation, or have the hard drives go into sleep mode, it must remain on.

Or go out and by a WIFI network access point, this device will sit near the receiver and pick up the WIFI from your neighbor then you plug the receiver into it.

This will free up your laptop for other things.

And your neighbor had better know you are doing this as tapping into someones WIFI without their permission is highly illegal in lots of places.
