Next FTA Stream and Dream

Is Next FTA Stream and Dream setting in Net Application meant to bring in picture on both public and private? Friends reciever with not do so. Have to go into setting's and set to Next FTA Stream or Dream. (when using private) So to be clear, when set to Next FTA Stream his public picture comes in fine. When set to Dream, his private comes in fine. When set to Next FTA Stream and Dream no pic on public but private comes in fine. Seems public will only come in on the Next FTA Stream setting.

Are you positive that it is ps and not public It will take the one that has the channel you are on Hit info and what does it say My buddy's says "on service" and to me that would be public

I asked him and 100% for sure. Public is Dish, Private is BEV

Public is dish, but private can also be dish, unless he has a B3V private server, but pugsycan is correct, if it say's on service, it is connected to the public, and if it says connection: 1 then it is connected to private. So to answer your question, if it is set to stream and dream it will switch back and forth between services.

He does have a B3V Private Server. When set to stream and dream it will work for private, but not public. Have to switch to stream only for public to come in..

That isn't quite correct: If it's set to Stream and Dream, it will say On Service be it on Private or Public. See first Image. If it is set to Dream, it will say Connection 1. See image 2

Now for today's update: Set to Dream and Stream - Both Public and Private coming in fine and he was able to switch back and forth between two. Yesterday, when he set to Dream and Stream, only Private would come in. Had to switch to Stream only to get Public in. He's really not sure now what is going on? Perhaps an internet connectivity issue???
