I have a Dish Turbo HD to get 110,119,129.
The dish is getting all the 3 signals.
PORT 1 - 119
PORT 2 - 110
PORT 3 - 129

When I scan I only get half the channels on each signal.

The cable going to the receiver is only connected to one LNB but getting all three signals.

What are the dish Turbo HD settings for the Jynxbox?

thats what I have too same dish. Yours setting looks correct. Do you have the DDP 44 SW. According to mine I get over 400 channels on sat 110 and 119 each and about over 200 channels on 129

Lets me know

you need to see it the switch is working, here is a way to test it,
go to manual scan on sat 110.0w and look at the top of the screen to see the sat id sat 110.0w in yellow if it is not then your switch
is not working, do this on all sats you are scanning.

Hey iq180

I Have the same dish as his. Is this dish a powerhog and if you have a DPP 44 SW? does it required a power insert-er too or just the DPP 44 SW is good for the Jynxbox or Sonicview 8000 too.
Thx

The Signals are detected fine as seen in the attachment.

There is no switch used. Just the Antenna connected directly to the receiver. There are 3 LNBs and and 3 outputs but only one one LNB and one output is used. The switch is integrated into the LNB bracket. I am looking for someone using Turbo HD with FTA to guide me. Does it need one cable from one LNB or do I need to hook up 3 cables to the 3 LNBs and use a Diseq?

yes it is a power hog and the 44 switch does need the power inserter.

The Jynxbox does not have enough DC current to run the 3 headed LNB, that LNB needs at least 650 mA of DC current.

To run it correctly you will need ether the DC power inserter for a DPP44 switch, or the DPP44 switch and power inserter, or an old Dish 301 receiver connected to the #1 port on the LNB.(or any other receiver that will put out 750 mA of DC current)

This will provide the needed DC current to propperly operate the Dish Tubo LNB for 110/119/129.

Also if this is a replacment dish and LNB, your coax must be rated to 2.5 GHz, or swept to 3 GHz to get all the transponders, the old coax used for an old legacy installation may not do the job.

Do you have three separate LNB's or the one big one with 3 heads on it?

the turbo hd dish for the western ark is a 3 eye lnb with 4 ports, 3 are sat out and 1 for an extra sat in, there is another turbo hd dish for the eastern ark, they look the same but they are not.

I know this, but some have 3 separate DP dual LNB's on them, at least some of the older ones I have seen. (this combo needs a DP44 switch)

Others I have seen, have a DP twin with a second DP dual LNB for 129.(This one doesn't, but most FTA receivers can't run it with out a power inserter)

This is why I ask.

i have never seen a turbo hd with anything other than the 3 eye lnb, i am not saying there is not one, if it has turbo hd painted on the dish then it should have the 3 eye lnb, and my other 1/2 works for the co, that makes them, lol.

iQ180 is right. I specified the Dish turbo HD, even google has pics. I will test with the DC power inserter and let you know.

Terryl and IQ180

you both are right. The original HD Turbo dish come with one head 3lnb. However you can use 3 seperate single to hook up dish HD still works. But I noticed something that when I am at home I can watch Golf HD on 9473 but when I am work buiseness which only 20 miles away the dish cannt see the signal for this channels.
