I see that u are new to the site.. That question has been asked many many times and answered just as many times..;)
A bit of reading on your part will answer your questions ...However ,,,, bottom line would be ..
Each receiver has it's pros and cons posted ...It is your preferences ,in those pro/con,that would determine what receive "you" choose..It is kind of like asking what is the 'best' car... What suites you may not be to my liking..

Imo 9000hd. Because it has built in astc tuner. The max does not. The software/picture is the same.
