PVR and time shift.

I have a 500 gig Seagate HDD.

Ever since I loaded the 233 file to my Jynx, im no longer having problems with the PVR and even time shifting, I tested it last night, and had no problems at all. When I had the last file on my box, I had problems with both of those, I could never get the time shifting working, and the pvr was choppy and wouldn't always work


Just letting everyone know,

Does anyone else have improvements with those with these new files.

Are you able to record via the timer settings, I am trying with test mine and I am a little confused using timer features and the box shuts off after event is finished, just testing now to see if multiple recordings will work

I haven't tried, but my buddy told me his reciver turns back on when the next recording needs to start. I haven't had the pleasure of trying this yet, but it will be the next thing I test, try it tho, I have hered that from other people also on these forums,

definitely choppy at playback hoping down the road this gets better.. it is unwatchable...

I had an older unit that would turn on, record and then back off, if it was already off... or if it was on and it recorded it would stay on.

I will have to see if I have set a recording and it is on it will record it.. Hate the naming convention!!

What version you have v1 or v2. I have v1 and no change with 233 on my end with PVR or time Shift. Its encrypted and and won't run after an hour later. Same with time shift, Freez every few seconds.
No problem with free channel thought.

I have the v1, its been working perfect with this HDD, I was using a 16gig memory stick before, and got bad results with it,. im now using the Seagate external 500gig drive, and its working perfect right now
