ok here is the scenerio!! I have a viewsat ultra (obvious) with a weather forcaster "thingy" hasn't worked since the great knock down. So here the question. Please step - by - step..... how do I get it up and running Please!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!:helpsmilie:

I have a weather forcaster do I need that xx-client file? I'm so lost dont know where to begin. my hardware is connected but that's it lost from there. please help .

HELP!!!!!!!:helpsmilie:sorry friend the weather forecaster is no good no more,you need etheir the xfta-router to connect to the internet or you can download the wfemu for windows program to your viewsat ultra and download the latest file for that receiver and you have to connect your viewsat to the computer or laptop with the rs232 cables and you have to be connected the internet 24/7 while watching tv,thru iks and you also need to find a private server like nfps or iksrockets and buy a code to connect to the server and watch tv,good luck friend....

He nailed it. i would definately run with the xfta router (actually i do) over a comp, much less complicated to set up, if you need help getting it running i am excellent at getting these to work

weather forcaster is dead. either get an xfta router (simple, an easy to set up) or get a comp with a serial port, or the usb adapter that staples sells. you need 3 files for your viewsat and you have to flash them in a specefic order, then you need to sub to a private server, and you are ready to go
