router backup

hello

i have a wrt300n router that i use on my network i recently lost all my settings... however i have a backup of my settings i did a restore but i noticed that the restore did not do my port forward info. when i opened up the backup file in a notepad to see if its in there it is but a lot of kinda hard to read so my question is is how do i get the info from my router backup back into the router port forwarding again i would think this should have gone back into my settings when i did a restore
