Turn off??

Is t it ok to leave the receiver on all the time, even when I am not watching or turn it off??
Any suggestions???

I think it a personal choice , i turn mine off on a night so it doesnt over heat, but i have a SV8000hd and it gets pretty hot, but each to there own.

I run my pvr at night and record the stuff I missed. If not in use, probs best to shut it off in case it gets hot for whatever reason. Jmo.
