More specifically, the five happiest countries after Panama and Paraguay are the first two places are El Salvador, Venezuela, and Trinitat Tompako, Thailand and Guatemala.

In contrast, the less happy countries after Singapore, Armenia and Georgia Iraq, Yemen, Serbia, Belarus and Lithuania.

In the 38th position of the less happy people are the Greeks.

The survey measured positive emotions felt by people in 148 countries from five questions.

The questions are whether people have experienced great happiness one day before the survey if they feel that they are respected, relaxed, if they laugh or smile a lot and if you did or learned something interesting.

On average participants worldwide responded positively to the five questions, reflecting an optimistic look on the world. The survey found that 85% of adults worldwide feel treated with respect all day, 72% of smiles and laughs a lot, 73% feel great happiness in the day and 72% feel well rested. However, only 43% said they did or learned something interesting last day of the survey.

According to the survey results despite the global challenges, people around the world generally experience positive emotions.

These data are sure to surprise the analysts associate happiness with traditional economic indicators. Yet, the people of Panama, a country that ranks 90th in the world in relation to per capita GDP, indicating that they experience a lot of positive emotions. In contrast, residents of Singapore, which is the fifth in the world in terms of per capita GDP, are last in the list of happy people.
