that looks delicious, since you can't send us all some, the least you can do is post the recipe please.:yes:j/k my friend
Cookie recipe:
1 cup of sugar
3 cups of All Purpose Flour
1 cup ( 2 whole sticks ) butter
1 tablespoon of Vanilla Extract
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon of salt
in a large bowl, beat the butter for about a minute , then add the sugar and mix for about 3 minutes... add the Vanilla and eggs and mix for about another minute or so... Add the flour and salt , and mix until you have a good "dough" mix, scrape the sides to mix everything really good ...
put it in the fridge for about 2 hours ....
Preheat oven to 375F*
Take a large cutting board and roll the dough to a nice even layer, but not too thin...
Take your cookie cutters and dip them in veggy oil, and then dip them in a little flour and tap the extra flour off, press cookie cutter into the dough, squeeze the sides of the cutter , just enough to help pick up the cookie, and place each one on a cookie sheet..
Cook each sheet for about 8 to 12 minutes, depending on the thickness of your cookies..... once the bottom of the cookie is a light golden color, they are done..
Let the cookies cool completely before frosting them..
Frosting:
4 cups of powered sugar
1/2 cup of shortening ( I used butter instead )
5 Tablespoons of Milk
1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
in a decent size bowl, Mix together the powered sugar and butter until they are nice and smooth..... slowly mix in the Milk and the vanilla extract ....use a Mixer for this... until it's smooth and some what stiff... it takes about 5 minutes of mixing ...
You can add food coloring if you want it to be a different color , other than white...
I used a butter knife to spread frosting on the cookies...
Mine only took about 2 hours for the frosting to harden ......
then Enjoy!!
