Losing Channels

Can someone tell me why the channels are being lost? One day I have say an hd channel then the next day it is gone. Not sure if this is common, am just asking as I don't know why this is. Any help is appreciated.

Have 2 I have been using, activa and beaver. I am not complaining, just wanting to know how come they come and go so quickly.

Activa, as well as several other P$ lost some HD channels in the last ECM that have not returned. Like CNN and HLN in HD and a handful of other channels like Redzone HD as well as the NBA Package in HD. The fact that the same channels on 5 different servers I have are missing the exact SAME channels (5 servers I have are: Activo, Satlobo, Piratello, NFPS, Ultimate) makes me wonder if either A) they are all sourcing from the same seed card, or B) D!sh has found a way to block channels from working on IKS. Either possibility is disturbing and worries me about the future of IKS.

I have been hoping that a P$ would sprout up that would specialize in SD and HD sports only. No PPV. I think there are a lot of sports fans who have IKS only to see their team and would pay extra for the ability to watch their teams in HD or SD on a more consistent basis. I believe that specialization in servers should be the next evolution in P$'s. One for PPV, one for Sports, one specializing in HD basic package, one specializing in HD premium package, one specializing in SD.... the possibilities are endless. I think that these servers are trying to provide too much for too many and as a result their uptime is too inconsistent. Specialization would create a more difficult environment for D!sh to ECM and block the signal... There is a market for just about every specialization and every combination thereof ... Just my opinion....

in and out freezing some channels don't
come in 204 -196 were down for days
and just came back yesterday
ppv half come in and the other half don't
hope they work it out
