See this and try to make contact with the dongle:

If the dongle is not seen by the box or on the network, "Network settings" will not show in the menu.
Good luck,

I appreciate the help.
Tried a cable that I was using in my ps3 that was working, but still no luck.
I tried that wizhub program and it didn't tell me a whole lot. It said version 82.9 but not connected, so maybe I toasted my wizhub?

If your showing version 82 there is a fix for it. I'm sure it's posted here but I haven't looked yet.

When I search in wizhub, then click on upload and upload SVLAN 43, I get upload failed.

Did you have the ethernet cable connected to your your hub and router or to your hub and lan connection on your PC?

Probably through the lan port and the subset is wrong.
If he is seeing it through the network, the file would load okay.
I'm stepping out for awhile. If he's on the lan port.. have him work on the subset.
Good luck and thanks for the input,
