Hey everyone

I have a dreamlink hd, I'm using it for bev and dn.

I have a 4-way DiSEqc SW 1.0 switch.

1 = Bev (I've put both 82 & 91 LNB's into one switch before attaching it into the DiSEqc slot 1)
2 = 110
3 = 118.8 and 119
4 = 129

However, after 24-48 hours later most of my Bev channels began to dissappear, I would scan again and they wouldn't appear. I would do a manual scan and same thing. After a week? My Bev (slot 1) stopped working, Dream Link Hd would not lock onto those satelites.

It turns out that my DiSEqc switch's number 1 slot isn't working, all others (DN) are working fine. No issues.

The setup I have? Is it not right? Is it not meant for a dreamlink? What can be the issue?

This has happened to me twice btw.

Sorry if I have some of the terms and words wrong, I am new at this. I followed how a professional had it setup for me. We've been having this problem so that's why I've turned to you guys for help..or advice.

Please help me out fellas!
Much appreciated.

Happy holidays

Is port 4 working? If so try moving Bev there and 129 to port 1. Than see if port 4 will lock on Bev.

Put an SW21 on port 1 Sw21 - 1 to 91 and Sw21 -2 to 82. That is what I have been using for years!

Why don't you use SW 1.1 instead if you had more then 6 Satellite go to EBAY and order DiSeqC Switch 8x1. I use my all 6 sat works perfect no issue. I have Dreamlink HD too.Good Luck!

I tried port 1 for 129, unfortunately port 1 doesn't work again.

ibrampton ... you disecq switch is not working ...

If you are from what your name suggest - just call your dealer or walk into ne shop that sells sat stuff - ask for a Chietah Disceq and a SW 21 ... setup your dish as this :

Port One : 110
Port Two : 118.7 and 119
Port Three : 129
Port Four : SW21 - Port One : 91 and Port Two : 82

I have the following setup for 3 years now ... never gave me a prob

Will give this a try! Thank you for the tip! Hope it works brother!

To check your diseqc connect a 9v battery and check the voltage to receiver port, then check ports 1,2,3 and 4
The voltage should be not less than 1.5v of the receiver port reading, if not replace it! Example Receiver voltage 9.11
Ports voltage 7.6

Hi , i have a dreamlink HD and it is set up the following way and works good for me.
110,119 go into a sw44 switch, then from the sw44 switch, it goes into a chita switch then off to the receiver
82,91 go into a sw21 switch, from there it goes to one of the chita switches
129 goes to a sw44 switch , from there it goes to one of the chita switches
I am running 2 dreamlinks and a vs ultra off of this system
equipment is 2 x sw44 switches ,1 x sw21 switch ,3 x h/duty chita switches
three dishes,first dish has 82 + 91, second dish has 110 + 119 , third dish 129
and numerous feet of cable lol lol
good luck and take your time setting up and all should work out .

happy testing
