laptop freze up

i have one old laptop issue is laptop freeze up anybody know any way to fix the problem all the time when i freeze up need a hard reeboot

Have you ran a disk defrag and checked for malware?

blow out the cooling ducts, check the memory with memtest

Defrag as mentioned.... Cache cleaner is another program.... spybot search and destroy , and Malware bytes.... All free programs , and worth having on any PC ... also, with windows 7 ....try this ....fixed freezing and browser "Not responding" all the time:
