Hello Gang I started to do the testing with this LNB so far I am liking the idea of having both bands from 1 sat with only 1 dish, save space for other dish installed to another sat, the settings for this LNB are simple, if there is no diseq switch because this is your only Sat, what you do at antenna settings is, select the Sat in my case I am doing the test with Simon Bolivar Sat 78west, if in your Sat list there is only Simon Bolivar KU then you have to add maually Simon Bolivar C, in my SkyBox S12 Simon Bolivar appears on C and KU, lets set the C Band first, on Simon Bolivar 78w antenna settings diseq goes to None 22KHz OFF now lets set the KU band, on 78w KU antenna settings the diseq goes to none 22KHz ON.
If you have more fixed dishes and using a diseq switch then to the port you have connected the Sat in my settings Port 1 is for 40.5w Port 2 is 30w Port 3 78w and port 4 58w. So in the 78w have to set diseq Port 3 22KHz OFF then 78w C diseq set to also Port 3 22KHz ON this was the internal 22KHz switch will switch to KU side in order to pick up KU TPs, this are the channels I got my first try wish I did with the TPs I entered manually
On KU band this are the channels I got
1-PDVSA Info Channel, boring channel from the petrol station at Venezuela
2-tvo Venezuela, this Channel I like, wile I was doing some cable hiding I was watching on my portable mini TV with the OpenBox S10 I use for installations the Back to the Future movie, when Michael J Fox was on the Old west rescuing Doc Emmet Brown, so it seems this channel has something good to offer.
3-Catatumbo TV I haven't have the chance to view this channel but I will to report what I find.
4-TV Nacional Uruguay Also haven't checked yet.
On the C Band
6 Channels found on 1 TP 3885 V S/R 23,000
I tested it for aiming or hunting a Sat it was a pain, I do not recommend this LNB for aiming a dish, the 242 C band LNB is the perfect one so far for aiming.
More test I'll be doing with this LNB so more to come soon.
