In November 2012, NagraStar LLC, together with Nagravision S.A., DISH Network LLC, EchoStar Satellite LLC and EchoStar Technologies LLC, commenced a legal action against Dean Love of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Love was active on piracy forum web sites under the moniker “wEeDeR”. An injunction was obtained and a civil search order was executed against Love and his premises. The execution of the order resulted in the seizure of technology and substantial evidence and information concerning the unlawful activities of Love and others. The action was another victory in NagraStar‘s continuing efforts to prevent satellite television piracy throughout North America.

THIS MOTION made by the Plaintiffs for a Judgment against certain Defendants
was heard this day at Winnipeg, Manitoba


ON READING THE CONSENT OF COUNSEL for the Plaintiffs and counsel
for the Defendants affected by this Judgment

1. THIS COURT ORDERS AND ADJUDGES THAT this Judgment applies only
to the Defendants Northern Satellite Technologies Ltd., Dean Love, Robert Love,
Louise Love, Brad Penner, Tim Warner and Melanie Lamoriss. and that any
reference to "the Defendants“ or "these Defendants" in this Judgment refers only
to those specific parties and no one else.


2. THIS COURT FURTHER ORDERS AND ADJUDGES THAT the
Defendants, Northern Satellite Technologies Ltd., Dean Love, Robert Love,
Louise Love, Brad Penner, Tim Werner and Melanie Lamoriss, or one or more of
them, their agents, servants, representatives, affiliated companies, related
companies, subsidiaries, or anyone on their behalf or anyone having knowledge of
this Order or anyone on their behalf, be and they are hereby enjoined from,

a) directly or indirectly manufacturing, importing or exporting from or into any
country, distributing leasing, selling, offering for sale, installing, modifying, operating
or possessing equipment or devices of any kind whatsoever that is or are designed
to be used to directly or indirectly decade encrypted subscription television
programming signals that are transmitted or broadcast by any party in Canada or
by any party in any country other than Canada in circumstances where the
distributor or owner of the signal is deprived of subscription fees:

b) advising or offering advice or information to any person that would,
could or will, directly or indirectly, encourage, assist, aid or abet any
person to decode an encrypted subscription television programming
signal which in whole or in part comprises television programming for
which the Plaintiffs, their customers, or suppliers, or any of them, have the
exclusive distribution rights , without the written authorization of the Plaintiffs;

c) directly or indirectly decoding, aiding and abetting or causing the
decoding of an encrypted subscription Television programming signal
otherwise than under and in accordance with authorization from the
lawful distributor of the encrypted subscription television programming
signal;

(c) advising or offering advice, counseling or information to any person that would,
could or will, directly or indirectly. encourage, assist, aid or abet
any person to decade an encrypted subscription television programming
signal unless it is broadcast or transmitted by a lawful distributor;

(d) directly or indirectly Providing information or advice to any person
describing one or more methods whereby any person can subscribe for,
receive or decode encrypted subscription television programming signals
in Canada that originate in any country other than Canada, unless they
are transmitted by a lawful distributor, pursuant to the terms of a licence
issued in Canada by the CRTC permitting them to do so;

(e) acting or omitting to act in such a way that has the effect of directly or
indirectly interfering with or infringing any licenses to copyrights or
copyrights held by the Plaintiff or the television programming distribution
undertakings or program suppliers which supply television
programming to any Plaintiff;

(f) directly or indirectly supplying, supporting, selling or advertising the sale of
counterfeit, cloned, or altered NDS Access Cards or other devices or
equipment (including, by way of example, software, deglitchers,
unloopers, un99 machines and programmers) designed or intended to facilitate the
reception and decryption. of satellite transmissions of television programming by
persons not authorized to receive such television programming;


(g) reverse engineering or attempting -to reverse engineer any of Plaintiffs'
products, services or technologies, including without limitation the
encryption and security controls for the satellite systems of any of NDS'
customers without the written consent of a vice president or president
of NDS;

(h) directly or indirectly manufacturing, importing, exporting, distributing, leasing,
selling, offering for sale, installing, modifying, operating or possessing equipment,
devices, software or know how of arty kind
whatsoever that is or are designed To be used to directly Or indirectly
decade encrypted subscription television programming signals in
circumstances where the distributor or owner of the signal is or are
deprived of subscription fees;

(I) advising, offering or giving advice or information to any person that
would, could, or will directly or indirectly encourage, assist, aid or abet
any person in Canada to decode encrypted subscription television
programming signals unless the distributor, owner, or transmitter of the
signals is paid the full subscription fee for the television programming;
and acting or omitting to act in such a way that has the effect of directly or
indirectly infringing any copyrights or copyright licences hold by
ExpressVu or the television programming distribution undertakings or
program suppliers which supply television programming to ExpressVu;
(the 'Injunction")


3. THIS COURT FURTHER ORDERS AND ADJUDGES THAT, on consent,
the restraints and obligations imposed by the Injunction shall apply To Defendants'
activities worldwide. None of the Defendants, either personally or acting as a
directing mind of a corporation, nor any other person or persons or entities
controlled directly or indirectly by any of the defendants, will invest or hold any
financial interest in any enterprise that, in any way, contravenes the terms of the
Injunction.

4. THIS COURT FURTHER ORDERS AND ADJUDGES THAT, in
consideration of the settlement, the balance of this action shall be dismissed as
against Dean Love, Northern Satellite Technologies Ltd., Brad Penner, Louise
Love Tim Werner, Bob Love, and Melanie Larnoriss.

5. THIS COURT FURTHER ORDERS AND ADJUDGES THAT any of 'These
Defendants violating the Injunction or other term of this judgment shall pay the
amount of $100,000.00 Canadian dollars for each violation. None of these
Defendants shall be liable to the Plaintiffs simply by reason of violations by another
of these Defendants of the Injunction. Notwithstanding the foregoing, each of
these Defendants shall pay the Plaintiffs the sum of one hundred thousand
Canadian dollars (CDN $100,000.00) should that Defendant have actual
knowledge of any violations by any other of these Defendants, and fall to report
that knowledge to Plaintiffs prior to Plaintiffs discovering such violations from
another source.

6. THIS COURT FURTHER ORDERS AND ADJUDGES THAT in order to
secure these Defendants' obligations pursuant to this judgment and the minutes of
settlement, Northern Satellite Technologies Ltd., and Dean Love shall provide
security to the Plaintiffs in the form of a bond issued by a chartered bank or
financial institution in a form satisfactory to the solicitors for the Plaint" or such
other security as is satisfactory to the Plaintiffs solicitors in the amount of CDN
$100,000.00 In the event that Northern Satellite Technologies Ltd., or Dean Love
should breach any Term of this Judgment or minutes of settlement, the Plaintiffs
will be permitted to realize on the security provided to them, in the full amount of
CDN$100,000.00. The bond shall remain available to the Plaintiffs for a period of
8 years from the date of this Order. Should Dean Love and/or Northern Satellite
Technologies Ltd., or any person acting under their direction violate any of the
terms of this Judgment or the minutes of settlement Dean Love and/or Northern
Satellite Technologies Ltd., shall be deemed to have waived any defenses either of
them may have to Plaintiffs' right to realize upon the bond, including those under
bankruptcy laws,
