check your rg6 coaxial cable or replace it might be bad, If the cable has a short in it, it is most likely that you blew a voltage regulator (tip42 transistor) inside the receiver.jmo have a nice day

could be water in the connections or you might actually have an LNB failure too but check cable & connections first like CHEVY85 says

It was the rg6 coaxial cable
