Wrong Remote Control

Hi guys:

I bought a DreamLink HD box and it arrived with a REMOTE CONTROL FOR A SD set. A SMALL control without a TIMESHIFT BUTTON.

The respond from the seller is that it is the correct remote control that is now coming with all the new v4 units. The other remote is no longer available.

Please guys, advise me on this issue. Thanks to all

The same happened to me. I can't even get the TV program with that RC. Where can I get an original HD control?

If u buy DL these days the box is V4, as they r software ugraded by the manufature, there is no difference in the box apperance. remote that comes with box is not the orignal but china made and it works fine. However if u still want the orignal remote then buy it from e bay for $ 20 or so.

and where does it say version number?

Umm maybe the version is related to the batch that was received..LOL They are all the same.. The remote issue is a new one though.

remote issue is more than likely the dealer screwing up

There is no where it say on the box what version is it, as long as ur remote has dremlink logo on it just accept it or buy another remote. Ok guys tell me where does it say on the box that its made in Korea? If u got a sticker then anybody can put a sticker on the box. Bottom line is, if ur box and remote works good then be happy. If ur happy with 99 cents from a $ why worry about one penny and screw up ur box. Does it make sence to you?
