I have a conversion van, and there are headphone jacks on both sides of the back seats, one for stereo ( there is a separate stereo for the back ) and the other is for a tv ( Van doesn't have a tv in it now, but I plan to put one in ) But my question is this :
Where does the out put from the tv go to be able to use the headphones ? I really don't want to rip apart the walls to trace the wires ....

The Van has the "Tiara Motor Coach" Conversion ....Not sure if that even helps to know ....lol..... Being that conversions are custom, I haven't been able to locate much info ...

I would imagine that either the headphone or analog output from the TV is just split to the rear headphone jacks. I don't think there's anything too fancy involved, especially with a van of that vintage. Is the wiring for the TV still in place, or was there never a TV in it to begin with?

I was able to trace the cable using my LAN tracer ....lol....it was hidden under a "cover" on my drivers seat..

Haven't had a chance to hook anything up yet, but I assume that everything works....will update once I test it...

Now, I have another question, I went and got 2 new tires on the front, and firestone did a full check of the van , overall , he said that I got an awesome buy on this, NOTHING is wrong with the engine or Transmission at all....100% passed !! Front end is 100% solid, and needs nothing ...however , they did find a few things that need to be done....

1: they said I need a new battery....

which I find odd, meter shows 12.44 volts , but they are saying that it's the Cold cranking amps that failed ....the battery is rated @ 770 CCA , but the test showed 450 CCA ( their test ) , but I have started the van while it was 15*F here, with NO issues, it starts right up, and the ALT meter inside shows 14 while running ...

2: the rear differential cover gasket is leaking...
This I can fix myself , although, I'm not certain how easy or hard it will be to get to the "port" on the top to refill with the gear oil...I haven't got under there to look at it yet...

3: needs new drum brakes in the back , and 1 wheel cylinder is leaking...

Now, the brakes feel fine to me while driving , and I didn't "see" them while they had it apart... I'm certain that I can do the brakes myself, but I've never changed a wheel cylinder before , but can't be too hard, right ? lol....

4: It needs new bushings on the sway bar

NOT something that I can , nor want to try and do....lol.....

Testing with a multimeter isn't going to give you a very accurate indication of the condition of the battery. Most problems related to the battery only occur under load. The voltmeter on the dash won't be any better, as when the vehicle is running the alternator is supplying all of the current necessary to run the vehicle.

The seals on the wheel cylinder may just be starting to weep a little brake fluid, so you won't notice an increase in pedal travel right away. Also, remember that the rear brakes on most vehicles only do around 30% of the work. It still needs to be fixed, the leak will only get bigger and you will notice the pedal becoming more spongy.

I would count on doing the shoes as well, since they're likely contaminated with brake fluid from the leaky wheel cylinder. Difficulty, depends on how rusty everything is. You may need a flare nut wrench to undo the brake line connection. If it's a hard line, do not twist it.

I would strongly recommend picking up a new hardware kit for the drum brakes. Putting everything back together with worn and rusty springs is not fun. For the cost of those parts I wouldn't think twice about replacing everything. I would also do both wheel cylinders, if one's bad the other might not be too far behind (and when it leaks it'll ruin your new brake shoes).
