After a 2012 full of ups and downs, TNA Wrestling is ready to start 2013 with a bang and put on its huge annual January pay-per-view, Genesis.
Between the continued invasion of the Impact! Zone by Aces and Eights, the love story involving Hulk Hogan, his daughter Brooke and Bully Ray and the three-way battle for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, there is no doubt that Sunday’s PPV will be as wild as it gets.
Wrestling fans may be unsure of what to expect Sunday—especially after the past several weeks of mediocre build to this event—but a great cast of characters and enough amazing in-ring action will remind people why they loved TNA to begin with.

PPV Changes Affecting the Long-Term Booking?
With TNA making major changes to the way the company’s PPVs are handled—transferring to four major events and eight smaller events to be pre-recorded—how the company books long-term on shows like Sunday’s Genesis could be much different.
The company has to be very conscientious that it will not be able to change titles or make major overhauls to a storyline until all the pre-recorded PPVs are played; the last thing TNA would want is to air an episode of Impact! with a glaring error like a wrong champion.
TNA is filming two of the pre-recorded PPVs this Saturday before Genesis, so the fans will be able to see the changes almost immediately.

Main Event Prediction
It is uncertain how long TNA promised Jeff Hardy that he could be champion to appease him during the contract re-negotiating process, but it’s about time the face started chasing the heel champion once again.
As much as the creatures don’t want to hear it, it’s time for Hardy to lose the title.
This doesn’t have to be the end of Hardy in the main event, though, especially if both challengers—Austin Aries and Bobby Roode—simultaneously pin the defending champion and either force the title to be vacated or they become co-champions.
Add in the fact that there are two title belts, and the possibility that Hardy could lose to two competitors at the same time is a swerve that many fans didn’t see coming.
It would be a different way to end the main event, and it would ensure that this angle is far from over.
Whether you like Hardy’s inclusion in the TNA World Heavyweight title scene or not, the infusion of two great heels like Roode and Aries makes this angle enjoyable.
This match has swerve written all over it!
