New 9600 HD

just got this reciever it's a hd 9600 do i need to download any progams to make privte i have a donation # any help would grate.

yes go to the file section located Here (http://phoenix.satfix.net/forumdisplay.php?1010-I-Link-Receiver-Files) and download the latest file.remember if you want HD channels then you need to buy an HD module,,look in Here (http://phoenix.satfix.net/showthread.php?122937-How-To-Install-HD-Module-on-a-ilink9600HD) for installations instructions good luck and have a good day.cheers

I have read the spec and there is a QPSK Tuner-LG NIM is this what you mean or not???

if the hd board came with the unit then all you need to do is to load the files,,and dont forget to run a jumper cable....

Go to E Bay and search 8psk module and it will bring up pictures of what is needed. Select the one for your receiver. This is an extra component that must be purchased so you can watch HD.

Thanks Chevy 85 did everything and it came up and seems to be running find .I'm going to install module today .Just one little question how do you tell witch channel are HD.I only running 110__119 right now i will hook up 129 later when weather is better.P.S thanks again for info.
