i have two DIR-825, they are both running ddwrt. Only $90 at bestbuy and they have dual band Wi-Fi.

Be careful when buying dual band routers. Make sure it's simultaneous dual band because the majoraty of wireless adapters are 2.5 Ghz.

Netgear WNDR3400v2 . 80 bucks if not cheaper and lifetime hardware warranty. Dual band with auto feature so no 2.5GHz issues and 300mbs and 5G.

I love this one, it's high power (600 mW vs 200 mW on others, better connection speeds to WIFI devices) has 5 - 1 gigabit LAN ports and is easy to use and setup, and runs at 2.5 GHz.

I looked at that one. Was advised by several staff not to get it as the service/support is terrible and does not perform as stated.
