I had this happen to my SV8000 a while back but I forgot the procedure on how to reset it. I am trying to figure out this bug on my friends SV360, loaded the Clean system file, then the p28 bin. Now the screen is showing multiple green screens. How do i get it back to normal?

We tried scanning numerous times but for some reason the receiver is not picking up all the TPs. We would get TBS, CNN, but no TNT and other channels we would regularly get. I tried looking for a file with the latest TPs but with no success, there isnt any in the file section.

Sorting out channels on this reciever is a $^%$&^&. I would go into Settings, channel edit and SORT. there should be 4 total options but only 3 are highlighted to choose from. How would I get the bottom highlight so i can use that option?

1 Alphabetical
2 Satellite
3 Default
4 Sort by SId Not highlightled and can not chose :(

This box was purchased refurbished, I dont know it that has anything to do with it but there are a few issues i see with this that I can not figure out, please help.

Not yet... i am still messing with it with no luck. I know how to force feed it by holding down the OK button then powering it on from the switch behind. But when i load the latest p28 file_( http://phoenix.satfix.net/showthread.php?119604-Sonicview-Premier-p28-rom-CCE-fix-May-05-2012) , i run into the green screen everytime. Can it be a corrupted file?

Ok i got the factory file loaded, scanned for channels and I noticed that I am getting a lot more channels than we did before. But I am still stuck on getting my channels sorted. there are 4 options now but i can not set it by SID. Anyway to do so?

Thanks for the links

Just a thought, have you tried using a different video cable or output from the receiver and tv input?

Other than a video connection problem, the only other thing that comes to mind is a possible Pal/Ntsc issue.
Next time it happens try this with the remote...
Menu>Down 1>Right 1>Down 1>Ok>Up one>Right 1>
If no change, exit out of the menu and do it again to reset back to Pal.

I can not locate the option button. When I hit Menu it takes me directly to Installation, there I can chose

-dish setting
-channel edit
-factory reset
-version information

Edit: I found it under USER OPTION..

Thanks for all the help guys
