just heard GM gilles for the vancouver canucks has a potential deal in place to trade veteran goaltender roberto luongo. also heard that it is with a team you would not expect? hmmm.....any guesses??....i'll go out on a limb and say the ny islanders?

that i wouldn't expect. price is a god there....find it hard to believe either of them as a back up. i'm starting to think mabey columbus. they got two young goalies.....each would be great back ups. columbus is on the move of late to build a young team and luo could be a great veteran mentor to a young goalie.

they won't even pay PK 1.5/year so I doubt it

well the flyers are off to a terrible start and have a history of late when it comes to goaltending duties. holmgrom isn't shy to shake things up...so definately potential in that trade rumour.

Bryzgalov and his bad contract for Lou and his bad contract. Then at the end of the year if it doesn't work out they jettison them. It's probably what they both would have done anyways.

interesting point. pk is worth the extra bit. he probably didn't finish learning french and management wants their rosetta stone cd back! c'mon pk give it up already! lol
