Limesat Ultra remote....reprogramming

A buddy of mine de-programmed his remote for his LS Ultra. He does not have his manual nor do I have one. Does anyone havea simple method/codes for reprogramming it. It's V1, running 2.75 and nothing on the remote works, although the lights light up, etc. It is clearly deprogrammed.....TIA

Ok I have found that quite a few of the limesat Ultras i received had remotes that did not work. Lights up but will not control box. Not sure if it was just a bad shipment but I do have some info how to fix remotes not working..

I know sometimes pressing the STB button and then putting in the code 0998 will get the remote to respond but mostly it wont work if its hardware failure.

Here is the super fix... and I have fixed about 4 like this..The problem is the LED Diode at front of remote. It needs to be changed. Luckily i had a box of old diknet remotes and just unsoldered the LED and soldered it on the limesat after removing bad one.. make sure it points out through the hole in plastic case..not sure if any old remote LED diode would work..
