I currently have a sub with dish using an old dish 301 rec i own and a Dish1000.4 Western Arc Satellite with the DISH Pro Plus 1000.4 Western Arc LNBF.
My question is can i tap into the setup with a dreamlink hd rec without a switch? I read somewhere the dish 301 rec would power up the lines enough for a fta box to run without a switch. Im a total newb and dropped out of the game after N3 came out.
I have installed:
Dish 301 reciever SD (Own)
Dish1000.4 Western Arc Satellite (Own)
DISH Pro Plus 1000.4 Western Arc LNBF (Own)
Subscription Smart pack
Have new dreamlink HD and p$
How can I incorporate the two services to run simultaneously. Specifically whats parts, if any are needed to make this work. I'm willing to run only one service (FTA) and if it goes down I'd like to be able to switch over to dish sub as a last alternative setup if i cant run both.
