nfhd to next fta hook up.

hi guys can someone tell me how to hook up the nfjd to next fta i want to be able to go from 1 box to another with the source button onv my tv instead of having to hook and unhook i tried every way i know how but can only get signal on the box the main cable is hooked to i should be able to loop or someting i think any info would be great thanks guys great site.

Try connecting a cable from the "loop out" connection on the main stb to the "lnb in" connection on the 2nd stb. I say try because this function doesn't always work, sometimes you can only get signal on the TP the main stb was on when it was switch off.

loop out will only get what 1st stb is on
example the sat and tp
both stb's will need to be on

If You have tried every way and got no results, what does that tell you? Don't waste your time run another cable from the dish, for the second rec., it is the best way to go!
