View Full Version : How much freezing is normal on a Premium IKS Server ?

More precisely, I'm using ikXs.bz server with a Nanosat Premium. The box is properly set up as are the peripherals but at times it's unwatchable. The server claims there should be no freezing on any make of stb. However, I've seen opinions stating that the Nanosat Premiums are prone to freezing. Assuming the server's customer service is truthful, is anyone having good luck with a different receiver ? Many Thanks

I have the same box and it works fine sometimes the server freezes but it not on my side. If your running just one service make sure the other server port is all zeros

they are all somewhat prone to outages and freezing, consider AVR and an OEM. Not likely anything is
better than what provider actually intended.
How many server info slots do you have filled? Premiums are a one server unit imho, 2 results in unit being
confused as it bounces between at random.
Funny, i was considering that service but it took them 7 days to email back some questions and the site has
not been updated in six months.....not even taking down complaints and slags made on own page is never a good
sign of efficient iks operation, lol. Other thing is they claim to have 'open' ppv/adult on bev and everyone knows
that to be impossible.
Nutshell, don't trust what anyone claims, usually just BS.

It's been a long time since I played with a 2700 IRD and AVR. Don't remember much but still have my old stuff. Is it hard to do ? I don't see any tutorials on this site but thanks for the tip. BTW, I just use slot #1 on the Nanosat Premium.

try to copy it over to slot 4 and delete slot one info...use the yellow green button on remote when in server settings..
