My reccomend is just buy plastic visa card and go direct to the website. Now a day even the best resellers got screwed.

Just a question with everything that's been going on with re-sellers for nfps right down to a seller turning rat to the current situation with nfps pulling the plug on many because your code was not bought directly from the home site why would anyone still trust them and want to do even more business with them ? If your in the US.... forget it.
He's wrong....

Now you have to register the card to a known and verifiable account of some kind or a verifiable SSN.
You purchase the card and walk out the door, then get the bad news when you try to use it.

Nokia did nothing wrong with his sales. He announced he would be retiring and then a time later... he did.
This issue lies completely at the feet of NFPS.
Nokia was a good seller that did the right thing by getting out when he did.

Bought 1 year donation for 2 receivers in Dec 2012. Both of the codes cannot connect to receivers -same problem with the other donation reseller.
how can you say these culprits did no wrong doing...I would agree that part of the problem lies with NFPS since the codes were working before they retire.

As far as he knew, there was nothing wrong with the codes he sold. They all connected as they should have so why would anyone think different. It wasn't until Nfps discovered they had inside problems that this came to light. Those that bought paid for a legit code and they should remain connected.
If a bank gets robbed because of poor security and part of the money stolen was yours, it would be tough for the bank to tell you to just kiss off.
Nfps has full control over who connects and who doesn't and I feel they should honor the buyers regardless. This little hiccup is gonna cost them more than the current losses before it's over.

JMO.... :)

I guess the old adage applies " There is no honor amongst thieves"
