Hi there friend of mine picked up this reciever at garage sale want to know is this Nano Premium SE or what files does one put on. Right now the following software is on there Sky01.12 is this the right update one if not what is latest software for this reciever. Alos trying to set it u for him but running bell and he will be running dish. Can one load a updated t.v guide on there if so how.

This is a nano premium. the SE model has the letters SE clearly visible after the name on the front. Sky 1.12 is the newest file but there is no way to check that you have the most current factory file NPP 9.15 boot loaded underneath. one would hope it is as it came out a few weeks before hand. The EPG(Electronic Program Guide) can be loaded by first doing a factory default. this will erase time & area settings & whatever channels may be loaded now, then go to menu/options/control panel/auto TP & turn it on. now pointing your dish at the sat in question selecting that sat in menu/installations/channel search(the password is 0000) & doing a search. once this is done simply set the channel to 239 on echo 14 or 163 on echo 10/11 & let sit for a minimum of 5 minutes. There is a way to scan both sats at once but this is more complicated. Unfortunately this won't get you any channels, just the guide. you will need to set up your network connection & add a P$ for them. I hope this helps.
